Each year on the beginning of April people are busy getting projects done at work or finishing up homework at school. The majority are too busy too know that it is the one time of year when things can go wrong and everything points to the fact that they may be being pranked. April Fool’s is a long time tradition in which we endeavor to pull things over on other people. Did you ever stop to think how it all started?

There are a few distinct accounts as to when and why this tradition got begun. The most ordinary version is that the day was first accepted when the reformed Gregorian calendar was finished in 1564. Before this was completed and accepted New Year’s Day was celebrated on March 25th. The celebrations would continue on April 1st.
