Taurus, the second sign of the zodiac, is an earth sign. It values material security and material possession. It is the consolidator – it understands the need to hold on to something, to nourish and cultivate it to fruition. Whether in business or a relationship. Never a quitter, Taurus has the patience to see things through to the end. Sometimes stubbornness and inflexibility get in the way of success, but Taurus has oodles of steady, determined, calm focus… until it blows it’s top and lowers it’s horns for a confrontation, which is usually a wall-shaking event.

Pisces, the 12th and last sign of the zodiac, is a water sign. It rules the imagination and has great visionary ability. It aspires to link to Source and Higher Self, and needs to periodically exit ‘normal’ reality. At it’s best, it senses that all things are connected, and can mesh auras and ‘pick up’ messages. It can hold a vision of a better world which sweeps aside any mealy-mouthed mechanistic, materialistic dragging of feet and put help where it is most needed.

Overall, Pisces is the principle of humble service to humanity and is aware of a state of relativity within all things, which means natives sometimes get confused about life direction or self-identity, because they can become anything or nothing, and sometimes are slow to decide which they are.

Scorpio, the 8th sign of the zodiac, is a water sign. It has a powerful, dualistic nature. It is the aspect of water which exerts extreme pressure like ice or deep water, and Scorpio has strong will-power and clings tenaciously to its beliefs which are fired by a profound strength of feeling. Scorpio rules the genitals and sexuality, and Scorpions have an intense, passionate nature. They get obsessive about what they are doing which sometimes blinkers them to the other side of their nature – the high-flying eagle. With an intuitive grasp of the big picture, this side can, like the snake, swoop silently, as if out of nowhere, and kill it’s prey.
